What Block Hosts Do:

Organize and coordinate sharing pools (tools, equipment, spaces)
Manage food orders and coordinate deliveries
Welcome new residents and answer questions
Facilitate democratic voting on building priorities
Build connections and trust among neighbors
Act as liaison between residents and Block Share

Time Commitment:

Sharing Pool Host: 2-3 hours/week for pool management, resident onboarding, issue resolution

Food Host: 6 hours per order cycle (every 6-8 weeks) for coordination and delivery

Many hosts do both! The roles complement each other and build on the same neighborhood relationships.

Food Host (Beef Collective) Coordinate group beef orders. ~6 hrs per cycle (every 6-8 weeks). Earn 5% commission in credits, cash, or beef.
